CAN DO Technique challenge entries

ENTRY 1

THIS SCRAPPIN' ARTIST USED:
- Cover chip board letters
- Create flowers from basic shapes: I used a heart shape punch and circle punch.
- Create a notched circle border. They are pink and you can see green under them where the notch is cut in them.

- use buttons as a border











ENTRY 2

THIS SCRAPPIN' ARTIST USED:

-Cut designs from patterned paper to use as page accents

-Stamp a background design

- Trace letters with a pen to make them pop

- Embellish patterned paper with paint dots.

Entry 3

THIS SCRAPPIN' ARTIST USED:

-Cover chipboard letters with newspaper, candy wrappers or something original.
I covered chipboard letters with paint but I don't think that's very original so I also did:


- Cut designs from patterned paper to use as page accents.

-Stitch around your page to create a simple textured border.

- Doodle simple images on a small strip of paper to create custom patterned paper.

Can-Do Technique Challenge (October)

CAN-DO Technique Challenge

This challenge is based off the Can-Do Techniques magazine.
I’m going to list 12 “can-do” techniques and I’d like for you to create a layout
and use at least 3 techniques below to complete your page.
12x12 or 8.5x11 accepted.


1. Cover chipboard letters with newspaper, candy wrappers or something original.
2. Create flowers with basic shapes cut from patterned paper.
3. Cut designs from patterned paper to use as page accents.
4. Stamp with bleach
5. Stamp a background design.
6. Stitch around your page to create a simple textured border.
7. Create a notched circle border.
8. Doodle simple images on a small strip of paper to create custom patterned paper.
9. Trace letter stickers with a pen to make them pop.
10. Embellish stamped images or patterned paper with paint dots.
11. Outline a geometric shape with buttons.
12. Use buttons as a border.
I do have the magazine and if you need an example of any technique listed, please let me know.
